Anapanasati meditation (originally from India with buddist roots) puts the attention to breathing as a relaxing but active exercise whose aim is to empty the mins. During this type of meditation the important thing is "to observe" the rhytm of breathing and the sensations deriving from it without trying to control it and therefore to obtain a major mind control.

Everyday meditation is a great way to train emotional and physical stress. Concentrating on the body and the breathing helps relaxing the muscles, changes its rhythm, slows down the heartbeat and influences other physiological functions of our body.
